Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the largest sheet size that you can print on?

28" x 40"

What kinds of presses do you use?

All of our offset presses are Heidelberg machines, capable of 4-Color Processing. In 2019, we will also be adding a new digital machine to expand our pressroom capabilities.

What programs or files do you use?

We operate with a PDF workflow using the Prinergy Digital Workflow system and have our own plate imaging Kodak Trendsetter 800 Quantum Platesetter. We use an Epson Stylus Pro 9889 for high-end proofing. We also use Adobe Creative Suites, QuarkXPress, and have FTP available for sending and receiving files.

What size shop are you?

We are a full-size, 8 up pressroom. With a 16-page folding capacity, we are able to saddle-stitch anywhere up to 3/8 of an inch thick. Any project larger than that will be outsourced to our consistent and reliable partners.

What are your printing capabilities?

We can do anything as long as it is ink on paper. We do not print on clothing, vinyl, plastics, etc. We can die cut and have a letterpress onsite. We outsource for embossing.

What is your ink process?

CMYK – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black

PMS Colors – Pantone Matching System

What kind of binding capabilities do you have?

Onsite, we work with a saddle stitch machine, but have trusted partners that we outsource for perfect binding, GBC, or Wire-O/Spiral Binding.

What is your usual turnaround time?

We ask for 7 to 10 work days from the day of proof approval. We are very cooperative and do the best we can to work with tight deadlines as necessary.
